SMS Communications Policy

My Car Concierge ("MCC") uses SMS text messaging to keep you informed about your automotive service requests, account activity, and important updates. By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you agree to receive text messages from us as described in this policy.

How to Opt In

To receive SMS text messages from My Car Concierge, you must provide explicit consent by:

  • Providing your mobile phone number during account registration
  • Checking the SMS consent checkbox that states: "I agree to receive text messages from My Car Concierge"

SMS consent is optional. You can create an account and use My Car Concierge without opting in to SMS messages. SMS consent is separate from our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive the following types of text messages from My Car Concierge:

  • Service request updates
  • Provider bid notifications
  • Appointment reminders
  • Account alerts
  • Promotional offers

What Messages Will You Receive?

When you opt in to SMS communications, you may receive the following types of messages:

Service Updates

Status updates on your active service requests and job progress

Bid Notifications

Alerts when providers submit bids on your service requests

Appointment Reminders

Reminders for upcoming scheduled service appointments

Account Alerts

Security notifications, verification codes, and account updates

Promotional Offers

Special deals, discounts, and exclusive member offers (optional)

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity on the My Car Concierge platform. You may receive up to 10 messages per week during active service periods.

If you have multiple active service requests or are engaging frequently with providers, you may receive more messages. During periods of inactivity, you will receive fewer or no messages.

Costs and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. My Car Concierge does not charge for SMS messages.

Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Check with your mobile service provider for details about your text messaging plan. My Car Concierge is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages from My Car Concierge at any time using any of the following methods:

Reply STOP

Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

Update Account Settings

Log in to your My Car Concierge account and navigate to your notification preferences to manage SMS settings.

Contact Support

Email us at support@mycarconciergellc.com and request to be removed from SMS communications.

Please note that opting out of SMS messages will not affect other communications from My Car Concierge, such as emails or in-app notifications. You may also continue to receive transactional messages related to your account security (such as 2FA verification codes) even after opting out of promotional messages.
