These Founder Program Terms ("Terms") govern your participation in the My Car Concierge Member Founder and Driver Founder referral commission programs (collectively, the "Founder Program"). By applying to or participating in the Founder Program, you agree to these Terms in addition to the My Car Concierge Terms of Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, a current MCC member or driver in good standing, and approved by MCC to participate. MCC may accept or decline any application at its sole discretion and may revoke approval at any time.
You participate in the Founder Program as an independent contractor, not as an employee, agent, partner, or franchisee of MCC. You are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to commissions you receive. MCC will not withhold income taxes or FICA from payments to you.
You earn a commission equal to your assigned commission rate (typically 50%) of the net amount paid by a referred provider for bid credit purchases made on the MCC platform. Commissions are earned only when:
Commissions are not earned on member service fees, subscription fees, or any payment type other than bid credit purchases made by referred providers.
Commission Term: Commissions accrue for one (1) year from the date your Founder Program application is approved ("Enrollment Date"). No new commissions are earned on purchases that occur after the one-year Commission Term. Commissions already earned before the Commission Term expires continue through the normal monthly payout schedule.
Commission income depends entirely on how many providers you refer and how many bid credits they purchase. MCC makes no guarantee of any specific income level. You may earn $0. Individual results vary significantly. Participation in the Founder Program is not an investment opportunity and should not be treated as one.
Each commission is held for a 7-day maturation period after it is earned. This allows time for refunds or disputes to be processed. After 7 days, the commission transitions to "payable" status and is included in the next monthly payout run on the 1st of each month at 14:00 UTC. Balances below $25 roll over to the following month.
If a bid credit purchase is refunded or reversed after a commission has been paid, MCC may deduct an equivalent clawback adjustment from your future payouts. MCC reserves the right to void commissions resulting from fraudulent referrals, self-referrals, or violations of these Terms.
Providers referred to MCC may opt out of commission attribution at any time via their account settings. If a provider opts out, no future commissions will be earned on that provider's purchases. Opting out does not affect commissions already paid or in the maturation window at the time of opt-out.
Your referral code is for your personal use only. You may not sell, transfer, or sublicense your code. You may share your code honestly and accurately — you must not misrepresent the MCC platform, the Founder Program, or likely earnings when promoting your code.
When sharing your referral code or link, you must clearly disclose your financial relationship with MCC. An acceptable disclosure is: "I earn a commission if you purchase bid credits using my referral code." This disclosure must be clearly visible before or at the point of sharing.
MCC may suspend or terminate your participation in the Founder Program at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms or the MCC Terms of Service. You may withdraw from the program at any time by contacting support. Commissions in the maturation window at termination will be voided unless otherwise determined by MCC at its discretion.
MCC may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
